Rouge Sour

a bittersweet twist on the classic sour - deep, dramatic, and irresistibly smooth

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ oz Rue de Rêve Rouge

  • ¾ oz lemon juice

  • ½ oz simple syrup

  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

  • 1 egg white

To serve:

(serve in a coupe)

  1. Combine all ingredients in the shorter of two mixing tins.

  2. Dry shake (without ice) for ten seconds.

  3. Unseal the tin, keeping the frothy liquid inside, then fill with ice.

  4. Seal the tin again and shake vigorously for an additional ten seconds.

  5. Double strain the mixture into a coupe glass.

  6. Allow foam to settle for one minute before garnishing with edible flowers.
